Retaliation Role

The sound of sheep in the morning woke Al up early from a sweet sleep. His mother set up the table. The pleasant smell of fresh cheese and bread wafted far and wide. This time, it was Al's turn to collect the eggs, so he had to have breakfast quickly and help his mother before going to school. He had some bites of mind-blowing cheese and prepared himself a sandwich for snack time in school. When he left home and reached the coop, he noticed something strange had happened. Al exclaimed: “Oh no, no Susie, where are you?!” He searched the coop carefully. That sneaky fox attacked the nest last night and took his favorite chicken. This fox had been causing trouble for weeks. He heard his mom call out, “Al, why are you here? You'll be late for class, hurry up!” He had an exam that he tried hard to study for to get a remarkable grade. On the way to school, he thought about all the times he had played with Susie before. He remembered the days when he went to the coop, and Susie quickly jumped and wanted to play with him. Susie was a loveable creature, small for a chicken, and chunky too. The day when Al's mother bought him a bike, he took Susie in the basket and rode all over the village. Al was overcome by anger and wrath; he balled up his fists and he bit his trembling lips. The wrath flowed through all the veins. Al thought to himself: I know, I know what to do with that stinky fox, Susie was my friend. After school, he rapidly got home and prepared a trap. It was such a sad, gloomy day with thunderstorms and rain. He was praying his family had not seen him preparing. The next day, he woke up and checked the coop. The fox was caught up in the metal jaws of the trap. Al thought: Ha-ha, now I found the culprit and murderer, by mine own order, I will sentence you to suffer the pain I have. He prepared the lighter fluid and set fire to the fox's tail. This was a painful moment for the fox, he let out a scream and he ran with the metal trap still caught on his foot toward the wheat fields behind the farmhouse. Unfortunately, the wheat fields caught fire and all the crops ignited. All Al could do was stare at the flames in shock. His mother who was watching the fire from the window of their home, came out and told Al, “My son, even in retaliation, you should follow some lines!”
